Course Description | Young people in the UK have the highest rates of self-harm in Europe. This growing number is meaning that teachers are having to support larger numbers of children and young people with increasing complex needs including self-harm.
This twilight course is designed to provide teachers and allied professionals information and strategies to support children and young people who self-harm. |
Course Objectives | 1) Gain up-to-date information around self-harm 2) Gain and develop a better understanding of how self-harm can be supported 3) Gain and develop a good understating to the self-harm “tool kit” published within the revised self-harm guidance |
