Programme Overview

The National Award for Middle Leaders (NAML) is an SSAT (Specialist Schools and Academies Trust)
designed course for aspiring, new or established Middle Leaders.

Middle leaders have an essential role in translating a school’s vision into practice and the most effective schools seek to continuously develop and build these individuals into high-performing leaders.

Applied Minds Teaching School is an SSAT-approved licensed school with trained trainers from Primary & Secondary schools who run the course over a number of two hour twilights.

3. Leading your team day-to-day
4. What makes the most effective teaching and learning?
5. Observation for improvement
6. Leading and managing innovation and change

Venue: Mounts Bay Academy, Boscathnoe Lane, Penzance TR18 3JT
Dates: Wednesdays – 19th April, 26th April, 3rd May, 10th May, 17th May, 24th May
Times: 3:30 – 5:30pm

Cost: The 6 modules cost £200 per person (includes delivery, course materials, registration &
certification, refreshments). Your school will be invoiced.
